Bondada Engineering has secured an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for a 250 MW solar power project integrated with battery energy storage, marking a significant addition to its renewable energy portfolio.
The project, awarded under the utility-scale renewable segment, will combine solar photovoltaic generation with a battery energy storage system (BESS) to enhance grid stability and enable more reliable power dispatch. The integration of storage is expected to support peak load management and improve overall energy reliability.
While specific financial details of the contract were not disclosed, the project further strengthens Bondada Engineering’s presence in the solar EPC space, particularly in hybrid renewable energy developments that are gaining traction across India.
The company continues to expand its footprint in large-scale renewable infrastructure projects, with a growing focus on solar-plus-storage solutions aligned with the country’s energy transition goals. The latest contract also reinforces its positioning in the competitive EPC market for utility-scale clean energy projects.
