The partnership establishes a framework for cross-border cooperation covering Silicon Carbide (SiC) power semiconductor products and Rectifiers and MOS-based power semiconductor solutions, targeting customers in India and global markets.

Under the agreement, the companies will jointly focus on two key product segments. The first includes SiC MOSFETs, diodes, modules, and related components designed for AI data centre applications such as power supplies, server power architecture, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and energy-efficient power solutions.

The second product category comprises Rectifiers and MOS-based semiconductor devices for applications including energy metering systems, HVAC power control, solar inverters, BLDC motor drives, and consumer electronics.

The MoU outlines three strategic areas of collaboration: joint market development and customer engagement targeting AI data centres, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), original design manufacturers (ODMs), and power solution providers; technical collaboration through engineering samples, reference designs, evaluation kits, and application support; and the establishment of a long-term framework for product customization, demand forecasting, supply arrangements, and potential co-development initiatives.

The companies have also agreed to work towards executing a definitive Distribution, Supply, or Joint Development Agreement within one year.

As part of the collaboration, LTSCT will provide product roadmaps, technical specifications, engineering samples, application guidance, and regulatory compliance support while participating in joint customer engagements. Azuremoto will lead market development, sales, customer relationship management, first-line technical support, and joint marketing activities across agreed territories.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Chief Executive of LTSCT, said the collaboration reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen India’s semiconductor ecosystem through global partnerships. He added that the partnership combines LTSCT’s fabless design capabilities and IP-led product development with Azuremoto’s semiconductor ecosystem expertise to support AI infrastructure and industrial power markets.

Stanley Lin, Chief Executive Officer of Azuremoto Technologies Inc., said the partnership aims to build a resilient global power semiconductor ecosystem by combining Azuremoto’s semiconductor design expertise with LTSCT’s product development capabilities. He added that the collaboration is expected to accelerate the commercialization of high-performance SiC and power semiconductor solutions for AI data centres and industrial applications.

The announcement comes as India continues to strengthen its semiconductor ecosystem through policy initiatives supporting domestic chip design and manufacturing. According to the companies, the collaboration aligns with growing industry momentum around cross-border semiconductor partnerships and the increasing demand for high-efficiency power semiconductor technologies driven by AI infrastructure, renewable energy systems, and industrial electrification.
