Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. has secured an order from the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM), under the Department of Rural Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh, to install hybrid solar rooftop systems integrated with battery energy storage systems (BESS) across multiple locations in the state.
Under the project, Servotech has been awarded 12 sites, each with an installed capacity of 75 kW, taking the total allocated capacity to 900 kW.
The company will be responsible for the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of the hybrid solar rooftop systems with integrated battery energy storage. The systems are designed to provide reliable and uninterrupted clean power while reducing dependence on conventional electricity sources.
According to the company, the project supports Uttar Pradesh’s efforts to promote decentralized renewable energy and strengthen energy access in rural communities. The deployment of hybrid solar systems with battery storage is expected to enhance power reliability while contributing to the development of sustainable and resilient energy infrastructure across the state.
Commenting on the project, Sarika Bhatia, Whole-Time Director of Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., said the partnership with UPSRLM reflects the company’s commitment to expanding access to clean energy in rural India. She added that the hybrid solar and battery storage systems will help empower local communities while supporting Uttar Pradesh’s renewable energy goals and accelerating the adoption of solar power across the country.
