The Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (APSERC) has admitted a tariff petition filed by the Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA) for 2.75 MW solar PV projects across the state.
APSERC held an admission hearing on August 11, 2026, for Petition No. TP-06 of 2025. The petition relates to solar PV projects located at Energy Park in Itanagar and 15 other locations in Arunachal Pradesh. These projects were commissioned during the financial year 2018-19.
The hearing was conducted before APSERC Chairperson Shri R. K. Joshi and Member (Law) Shri Nich Rika. APEDA was represented by Advocate Mr. Ravi Deshmukh and Deputy Director Mr. Nguri Talo.
After reviewing the petition and hearing the submissions, the Commission formally admitted the matter for further proceedings. The tariff determination process will now move forward in accordance with the regulatory procedure.
APSERC has also directed APEDA to ensure public participation in the process. The agency has been instructed to publish an abridged version of the petition in two widely circulated local daily newspapers.
In addition, APEDA must make the complete petition available for public inspection and invite comments and suggestions from interested stakeholders within the timeframe specified by the Commission. This process will allow consumers and other stakeholders to present their views before APSERC takes further decisions on the tariff petition.
