Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) has recently announced financial Result for its tender of 1.95 MW Solar PV Power Plant with 2.15 MWh BESS at UT, Lakshadweep.
After the Financial evaluation of the Price Bids, M/s SunSource Energy Pvt Ltd is found to be the lowest (L1) bidder. It was earlier mentioned in the NIT document that the entire project will be allocated to a single bidder based on the price bid for the cumulative capacity.
Solar Energy Corporation of India floated this project in September 2019.
Scope of work for this tender include Design, Engineering, Supply, Construction, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of cumulative 1.95 MW (AC) Solar PV Power Plant with 2.15 MWh BESS having 10 years Plant O&M at 04 Different Islands of Union Territory, Lakshadweep in India.
The projects will be developed on four islands in Lakshadweep; Agatti Kavaratti, BangaRam, and Thinnakara.
The commissioning timeline for this project is between six to twelve months from the date of signing the letter of award (LOA) depending on the size and location of the project.
Recently, The Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) announced the results of its 2 GW ISTS auction (Tranche IX). The auction saw a historic low solar tariff of INR 2.36/ kWh. The lowest bid was quoted by Spanish Developer Solarpack Corporacion Tecnologica for 300 MW. The second-lowest tariff of INR 2.37/kWh was quoted by Avikaran Surya India Private Limited, Amp Energy Green Private Limited, Eden Renewables, and IB VOGT Singapore Private Limited. AMP Energy won 100 MW of projects whereas others won a total of 300 MW capacity.
The auction saw interest from bidders across the globe which includes Spain, Canada, Italy, UK, and Germany.
