Indian hydropower utility NHPC Limited issued bid for EPC Contract for development of 600 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Power Project and associated Transmission line for Power Evacuation to ISTS Sub-station and Solar Park alongwith Comprehensive Operation and Maintenance for 10 years under UMREPP Scheme. It will be connected to the interstate transmission system (ISTS) substation and solar park in Rajasthan.
NHPC is developing the 600 MW project under the Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Parks (UMREPP) scheme of the federal Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
The last date to submit the bids online is August 31, 2021.
Last date for offline bids submission is September 6, 2021.
Pre-bid meeting will be held on July 28, 2021
Bids will be opened on September 8. 2021.
Bidders have to meet a minimum average annual turnover of over Rs 1800 in the preceding three years, and also have a working capital of at least Rs 300 crores.
Earlier NHPC Limited had launched an EPC solicitation exercise for 50 MW floating solar PV power project to be set up at West Kallada in Kerala’s Kollam district, with comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for 10 years.
NHPC is also planning a 600 MW solar park in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh.
