Cleantech Solar, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions to corporations in India and Southeast Asia, has commissioned a 2.6 MW rooftop solar PV system at the newly built manufacturing facility of Chloride Metals Limited in Haldia, West Bengal. Chloride Metals Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Exide Industries Limited, India’s largest battery company.

Cleantech Solar has financed, designed, and constructed the fully functional solar PV system. Cleantech Solar will operate and maintain the system throughout the agreement’s term. This will help industry leaders increase their sustainability efforts by including renewable solar power in their energy mix.
Cleantech Solar’s CEO and founder, Raju Shukla, stated that “we are thrilled to be the preferred solar partner for Chloride Metals Limited. We help them sustainably power their operations with our top-ofthe-line solar solution.” It is encouraging to see industry leaders increasing their use of clean, renewable energy. The company will be able to reduce carbon emissions and increase their long-term energy security. Cleantech Solar would like both teams to be commended for successfully commissioning this rooftop project.
Recently Cleantech had installed 625 kWp rooftop solar PV system at the manufacturing facility of Yachiyo India Manufacturing Private Limited in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.
