Egypt Invites Bids For 20 MW Hurghada Photovoltaic Plant

New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) invites bids for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of the 20 MW Hurghada photovoltaic power plant, with a battery system with a capacity of 30 Mwh, with O&M services for a period of 2 years, in addition, to construct an information center for renewable energy as turnkey Bidding will be conducted according to the applicable Guidelines for Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The New & Renewable Energy Authority has received a STEP (Special Terms for Economic Partnership) loan from Japan International
Cooperation Agency for the financing of the Hurghada Photovoltaic Power Plant Project.

The tender documents would be sent to the tenderers upon payment of two thousand and five hundred (2500) US dollars including VAT or equivalent in Egyptian pounds.

The deadline for submitting offers is Monday 23rd January, 2023 at 12:00 PM Cairo local mean time.
