OPWP, Oman Power and Water Procurement Company issue a request to proposals (RfP) for financial consulting services in support of the development of the 500-MW Ibri III project. It is located in the northwest region of the country.
You can purchase the documents required to participate in the tender until December 1, 2022, and submit your proposals by January 11, 2023. OPWP stated in a statement that this deadline has been extended for submissions.
The state-owned company explained that the winner of the tender will offer financial and commercial consulting services, as well as advice on the competitive tendering process.
Tenders for financial service providers are being issued just a month after OPWP launched an RfP for technical consultants for large-scale projects.
Ibri III will be found in Al Dhahirah, near the 500-MW Ibri II PV park. It was inaugurated earlier this year. It is expected that the new solar plant will be commercially operational by the fourth quarter, of 2026.
