RVNL, a major infrastructure company in India, has formed a joint venture with Jakson Green, a renewable energy company, to undertake global clean energy engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
This partnership is aimed at supporting India’s push towards decarbonization and creating synergies in executing large-scale EPC projects worldwide. The collaboration between RVNL and Jakson Green will cater to the growing demand for clean energy projects in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA), Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions.
RVNL is primarily engaged in executing various railway projects such as electrification, metro projects, workshops, bridges, and buildings. As of December 31, 2022, the Indian government holds a 78.2% stake in RVNL.
