During the event, Sungrow showcased its competitive solar and storage solutions designed for the utility-scale market. The company introduced the SG3150/4000UD-MV-US modular inverters, the award-winning SG350HX string inverter, and the liquid-cooled ESS PowerTitan.
The SG3150/4000UD-MV-US inverters combine the advantages of both string and central inverters, offering a modular design for streamlined installations and maintenance. These inverters are optimized for large-format high-efficiency modules and tracking systems, ensuring an optimized levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) for utility-scale plants.
The liquid-cooled ESS PowerTitan, based on Sungrow’s expertise in power electronics, electrochemistry, and power grid support technologies, provides a professional integration solution for utility-scale installations. Its advanced liquid-cooled thermal management ensures system safety and longevity, while the DC-DC controller enables individual charging and discharging of battery racks, enhancing overall system performance. The PowerTitan has already received significant orders globally, and its excellence was recognized with the world’s first ‘iF Design Award’ in the utility-scale ESS category.
In addition to utility-scale solutions, Sungrow also showcased cutting-edge innovations for commercial and industrial (C&I) solar and storage projects. Sungrow recognizes the significant potential in the US C&I energy storage market. The SG36CX-US/SG60CX-US commercial PV inverters and the liquid-cooled ESS PowerStack were introduced to meet the diverse needs of C&I installations.
These inverters, with capacities of 36kW and 60kW respectively, enable a high DC/AC ratio of 1.5, resulting in higher project yields. Equipped with online IV curve scan and diagnosis functions, they provide real-time issue tracking and reduce operating expenses. PowerStack can store surplus energy generated during the day for later use, optimizing clean energy consumption and maximizing return on investment.
