Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El-Molla, held discussions with Canadian Minister of Energy and Minerals, Brian Jean, regarding potential cooperation between Egypt and Canada in the green energy sector, as stated in a press release.
They explored opportunities for collaboration in green hydrogen, as well as oil and natural gas exploration and production, while also considering knowledge exchange in these domains.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt held a meeting with Mr Jin Liqun, President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), during the Eighth Annual Meeting of the AIIB Board of Governors in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
These discussions took place during El Molla’s visit to the UAE, coinciding with the ADIPEC 2023 Exhibition and Conference.
