The Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA) has issued an invitation for bids to empanel developers for the establishment of 250 MW grid-connected solar power projects under the “Mukhyamantri Saur Swarojgar Yojana.”
Selected developers are required to oversee the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the projects for a duration of five years.
The deadline for bid submission is February 8, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for the following day.
Bidders are obligated to provide a bid security amounting to โน10 lakhs.
As part of this initiative, solar projects with capacities of 20 kW, 25 kW, 50 kW, 100 kW, and 200 kW, or as specified by UREDA, will be installed in the state, with a tentative cumulative capacity of around 250 MW.
The maximum benchmark rate for a 1 kW solar project has been established at โน50,000/kW. However, prices are subject to negotiation between the firms and the allottee. Prospective bidders must possess a minimum of three years of experience in supplying, installing, commissioning, and maintaining on-grid solar power projects. At least 500 kW of cumulative capacity should be attained during this experience, either by:
- Installing and maintaining a minimum of four on-grid solar power projects, each with a capacity of 25 kW or above, or
- Executing and maintaining at least one on-grid solar power project with a capacity of 100 kW or above within the last three years.
Additionally, bidders are required to demonstrate an average annual turnover of a minimum of โน1 crores over the past three financial years.
Strict adherence to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energyโs Approved List for Models and Manufacturers is mandated, with only modules from this list permitted. The modules must have a minimum capacity of 300 W.
Furthermore, the predicted electrical degradation of power generated must not exceed 20% of the maximum rated power over 25 years and not more than 10% after the initial years of full-rated output.
