Crescent Energy Appoints Joey Hall As Chief Operating Officer

Crescent Energy Company has announced the appointment of J.D. Hall as Chief Operating Officer, effective June 2, 2025. Mr. Hall brings extensive experience from a multi-decade career at Pioneer Natural Resources Company, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of Operations and was a member of the Executive Committee. Throughout his tenure, he held key leadership positions overseeing development and operational strategies across multiple regions, including the Eagle Ford and Permian Basin.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Beyond his professional career, Mr. Hall and his family are actively involved in philanthropic efforts and co-founded the nonprofit organization Will to Cure ALD, which supports research and awareness for adrenoleukodystrophy. His appointment reflects Crescent Energy’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and leadership strength as the company continues its strategic growth.
