Boviet Solar Recognized as Tier 1 PV Module Manufacturer by BNEF

Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd. has once again been recognized as a Tier 1 PV module manufacturer by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) for Q3 2025. Boviet Solar first achieved Tier 1 status in 2017 and has consistently maintained this prestigious ranking, underscoring its ongoing commitment to quality, reliability, and bankability.

BNEF’s tiering system is one of the most trusted benchmarks in the renewable energy industry. To qualify for Tier 1 status, manufacturers must supply their own-brand, self-produced modules to at least six large-scale solar projects — each with a capacity of 5 MW or more — that are backed by non-recourse financing from six different banks within the past two years. These projects must also be listed in the BNEF database with full transparency on their size, location, developers, financiers, and suppliers. This rigorous process provides investors, developers, EPCs, and asset owners with confidence in a manufacturer’s financial stability and product dependability.

The Tier 1 rating serves as a key reference point for capital allocation, supplier selection, and project planning, while also promoting healthy competition and driving higher industry standards.
