PIXON, one of Indiaโs leading solar module and encapsulant film manufacturers, is driven by the leadership of its Founder and Managing Director, Mr. Deven Marwadi. His vision emphasizes innovation, sustainable growth, and building a globally competitive presence. Under his guidance, the company is focused on strengthening operational excellence, embracing digital integration, and expanding its international reach.
In line with its growth strategy, PIXON has recently announced an additional 800 MW expansion in its production capacity with the introduction of solar modules based on advanced TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) and HJT (Heterojunction) technologies. The company operates fully automated, AI-optimized production lines, with the ability to scale up to 3 GW of solar modules and 3 GW of encapsulant film manufacturing within the same facility. This expansion represents a significant step in enhancing PIXONโs ability to deliver next-generation photovoltaic solutions.
With the new capacity, PIXONโs total manufacturing capability is moving closer to 2 GW, aligning with its long-term vision of becoming a major global player in the solar value chain. The addition of advanced technologies further strengthens its existing portfolio, which already includes PERC and N-Type (TOPCon, HJT) modules. This reinforces the companyโs commitment to offering durable, high-efficiency, and reliable solar solutions that meet the evolving demands of the renewable energy sector.
Mr. Nikhil More – General Manager (Management), stated, โOur expansion with N-Type technology highlights PIXONโs commitment to staying at the forefront of solar innovation, further strengthened by NABL-accredited lab support for TOPCon and HJT technologies. Along with strong partnerships with solar cell manufacturers and OEM partners, we are ensuring long-term growth and stability. As we evolve, we remain committed to delivering reliable, high-performance solar solutions that support global decarbonisation goals.โ
PIXONโs position as a vertically integrated manufacturer ensures greater control over its value chain, while its plans for backward integration highlight a strong focus on sustainability and adherence to ESG requirements. With these initiatives, the company continues to position itself as a forward-looking solar energy leader contributing to the global clean energy transition.
