ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has announced a new milestone in its renewable energy journey with the commissioning of the sixth phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. The update was shared on April 13, 2026, and the work has been carried out through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Suryodaya Private Limited.
The project is located in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan, covering the villages of Sanwara and Mehar Nagar in Pokhran tehsil. This sixth phase adds a capacity of 38 MW and 80.252 MWh. The company has scheduled the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for this phase as April 15, 2026.
This development is part of a series of ongoing progress updates by the company over the past few months. ACME had earlier informed about multiple phases of the project during February, March, and early April, showing a fast pace of execution in battery storage deployment. With the completion of this phase, the total commissioned capacity under ACME Suryodaya Private Limited has reached 285 MW and 601.904 MWh.
The project reflects the growing role of battery energy storage systems in Indiaโs power sector. As renewable energy sources like solar and wind increase, storage systems are becoming important to balance supply and demand and improve grid stability. ACMEโs continued expansion in this area shows its focus on advanced energy solutions.
The company has officially submitted this update to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, following regulatory requirements under SEBI norms. The disclosure was signed by Rajesh Sodhi, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
Headquartered in Gurugram, ACME Solar Holdings Limited continues to expand its presence in Rajasthan while focusing on innovation and clean energy growth.
