Solarworld Energy Solutions Limited has announced the signing of an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract with NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for the development of a 200 MW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
With this latest order, the company has surpassed the 1.5 GW mark in cumulative order bookings, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory within Indiaโs renewable energy sector.
To strengthen its EPC capabilities and ensure supply chain integration, Solarworld Energy has also commenced manufacturing operations with a 1.55 GW ALMM-listed solar module production line. The company further indicated that a high-efficiency solar cell manufacturing line is expected to be operational soon, enhancing its ability to deliver quality modules for utility-scale projects.
The milestone reflects Solarworld Energyโs strategic focus on vertical integration and its continued contribution to Indiaโs clean energy transition. The company acknowledged the collaborative efforts of its internal teams and NTPC Renewable Energy Limited in achieving this development.
