As Uttar Pradesh accelerates its clean energy ambitions through large scale solar deployment, distributed energy programs, and grid modernization initiatives, the state stands at a critical point in its energy transition. This May, Uttar Pradesh Energy Expo 2026 (UPEX 2026) will bring together the region’s most influential voices in power and renewable energy to address the key question. How does Uttar Pradesh scale clean energy while ensuring reliability, affordability, and infrastructure readiness?

Organised by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and FirstView, and supported by Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL), UP Renewable & EV Infrastructure Ltd (UPREV), and the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the three day conference and exhibition at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan (IGP), Gomti Nagar, Lucknow positions itself as a leading platform driving India’s state level energy transformation.

Positioned as a high level, industry driven platform, the expo will bring together 10,000+ visitors, 150+ exhibitors, 200+ speakers, and 20+ conference sessions, representing developers, EPC companies, utilities, financial institutions, manufacturers, and policymakers.

What’s Driving the Agenda. Three Days of Focused Industry Dialogue  

Uttar Pradesh Energy Expo 2026 reflects the scale and complexity of the state’s energy transition, with each day addressing a distinct layer of the ecosystem.

Day 1. Policy, Grid and Infrastructure Foundations
Leadership discussions including the UP Energy Leadership Dialogue: State Policy, Power Demand and Infrastructure and the DISCOM Leadership Dialogue: Transforming Power Distribution in Uttar Pradesh will focus on policy direction, demand growth, grid readiness, and distribution reforms.

Day 2. Renewable Scale Up and System Integration
Strategic sessions including State Energy Roadmap 2030: UP’s Vision for Power, Renewables and Net Zero and the Energy Storage and Grid Flexibility Forum will explore long term planning, storage integration, and system resilience. Additional forums such as the PM KUSUM and Agrivoltaics Forum and the Industrial Energy Transition and C&I Solar Forum will address rural energy models and industrial decarbonisation.

Day 3. Electric Mobility and Future Energy Systems
The final day will spotlight mobility and urban transformation through the UP EV Mobility Summit: Policy, Market and Adoption Drivers, EV Charging Infrastructure and Battery Swapping Forum, Electric Trucks and Commercial Fleet Electrification Forum, and Smart Energy Cities and Future Mobility Forum.

Co-Located Expos Powering the Ecosystem  

Uttar Pradesh Energy Expo 2026 will host four co-located exhibitions. UP Solar Expo, UP Smart Grid Expo, UP Storage Expo, and UP EV Expo will showcase technologies and solutions across solar, grid, storage, and electric mobility, creating a focused platform for industry collaboration and innovation.
