Monarch Private Capital Monarch Private Capital and Generate Capital, PBC Generate Capital, PBC have announced the closing of a 104-megawatt (MW) energy investment portfolio. This portfolio consists of more than 15 community solar projects and represents a significant expansion of community-based clean energy generation. The investment is expected to generate around US$ 200 million in investment tax credits (ITCs). The solar projects are scheduled to begin operating in the second and third quarters of 2026. Once online, they are projected to produce enough electricity to power over 20,000 homes in the United States each year.

In addition, the portfolio is estimated to prevent approximately 150,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. The projects are designed to broaden access to reliable and affordable renewable energy. By supporting localised energy generation, they help meet growing electricity demand without putting additional strain on existing grid infrastructure or requiring costly new transmission lines. The investment demonstrates a strategic approach to capital deployment that prioritises system reliability, long-term resilience, and affordability for consumers.
