ACME Solar Commissions 34.598 MW/155.493 MWh BESS Capacity In Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has expanded its renewable energy portfolio with the commissioning of additional capacity under its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan.

The project has been developed through ACME Surya Power Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited. The company has commissioned an additional capacity of 34.598 MW/155.493 MWh at Jaimalsar village in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district. The commercial operation date (COD) for the newly added capacity is scheduled for May 29, 2026.

The latest commissioning follows an earlier update issued by the company on May 11, 2026, regarding progress on the same project. With the addition of this new capacity, ACME Surya Power Private Limited has achieved a cumulative commissioned capacity of 245.536 MW / 1103.392 MWh under its battery energy storage operations.

The regulatory filing was signed by the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of ACME Solar Holdings Limited. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company also informed the stock exchanges to take the latest update on record.

The commissioning of additional battery energy storage capacity highlights ACME Solar’s continued focus on strengthening clean energy infrastructure in India. Battery energy storage systems are increasingly becoming important for grid stability and renewable energy integration, especially as India expands its solar and wind power capacity. The new project addition is expected to support reliable power management and contribute to the country’s growing clean energy transition efforts.
