The collaboration focuses on ensuring technical compatibility between Solar Steelโ€™s solar tracking systems, including both single-row and dual-row configurations, and Solar-LITโ€™s automated cleaning robots designed for large-scale solar installations worldwide.

Under the agreement, the two companies will align tracker and cleaning technologies from the project design stage, enabling seamless integration of advanced operation and maintenance (O&M) solutions. The approach is expected to help developers and EPC contractors improve plant performance, reduce maintenance costs, and optimize long-term asset reliability.

Commenting on the partnership, Javier Cueto-Felgueroso, Chief Operating Officer of Solar Steel, said that the adoption of automated processes in plant operations and maintenance enables customers to maximize the performance benefits delivered by the companyโ€™s solar tracking systems in the field.

The companies noted that the cooperation reflects growing industry demand for integrated solutions that combine solar generation technologies with automation-driven O&M capabilities. Automated cleaning systems are increasingly being adopted to maintain module efficiency and availability, particularly in regions where dust, sand, and other environmental conditions can impact energy production.

By integrating tracking and cleaning technologies from the outset, Solar Steel and Solar-LIT aim to support the next generation of utility-scale solar plant design, where automation, digitalization, and operational efficiency play an increasingly important role in project competitiveness and long-term performance.

The partnership reinforces Solar Steelโ€™s broader innovation strategy of developing adaptive and integrated solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the global solar industry.
