Shakti Pumps (India) Limited (SPIL) reported its highest-ever consolidated revenue for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by strong execution in its solar pumping business and sustained demand across key markets. The company also highlighted a robust order book and continued investments in solar manufacturing and electric mobility to support its long-term clean energy growth strategy.
Consolidated revenue from operations rose to a record Rs. 8,587 million in Q1 FY27, compared with Rs. 6,225 million in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit after tax (PAT) increased 34.6% quarter-on-quarter to Rs. 516 million, while EBITDA stood at Rs. 829 million, with an EBITDA margin of 9.6%, broadly stable compared with the previous quarter despite higher input costs and lower realisations on select orders.
“We are pleased to report another record quarter, building on the momentum established in Q4 FY26. Our performance reflects strong execution, an improved working capital position, and sustained demand across key markets,” said Dinesh Patidar, Chairman of Shakti Pumps.
The company said it remains optimistic about future growth, supported by an order book of approximately Rs. 10,000 million and increasing visibility under the PM-KUSUM 2.0 scheme and other state-led solar irrigation programmes.
Shakti Pumps’ core solar pumps business continued to deliver strong growth during the quarter. The company installed 27,678 solar pumps, representing a 57.6% year-on-year increase from 17,557 units installed in Q1 FY26. Revenue from the solar pumps segment increased 51.3% year-on-year to Rs. 6,851 million, driven by higher project execution.
The company said its export business generated Rs. 829 million in revenue during the quarter, with dealer and distributor-led exports continuing to gain traction despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties.
Shakti Pumps also reported progress across its emerging businesses. Its retail and cash sales business generated approximately Rs. 240 million in revenue during Q1 FY27, while the solar rooftop segment contributed Rs. 80 million. The company expects to commission its 0.5 GW Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) solar module manufacturing facility by September 2027, supporting further expansion of its renewable energy portfolio.
As of July 22, 2026, Shakti Pumps’ outstanding order book stood at approximately Rs. 10,000 million, with major orders from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and other states under various solar water pumping programmes.
During the quarter, the company invested Rs. 100 million in its wholly owned subsidiary, Shakti Energy Solutions Limited, to establish a 2.2 GW integrated DCR solar cell and module manufacturing facility at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. It also increased investments in Shakti EV Mobility Private Limited, taking its cumulative investment in the electric vehicle motors and controllers business to Rs. 700 million.
Looking ahead, Shakti Pumps said it expects growth to be supported by a stronger execution pipeline, improving order mix, operational efficiencies, and continued expansion across solar pumps, rooftop solar, module manufacturing and electric mobility solutions.
