The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) Issued results of E-bidding and E-RA for its 1200 MW ISTS-connected solar PV power projects (ISTS-viii). The Shortlisted bidders for this project are SBE Renewables Fifteen Private Limited, AMP Energy Green Pvt. Ltd., Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited and ReNew Solar Power Private Limited.
SECI issued a tender for its 1200 MW ISTS-connected solar PV power projects in January, the projects range between 50 MW and 300 MW in capacity. Bidders must quote bids only in multiples of 10 MW. The last date for the submission of bids was February 4, 2020.
In February, SECI extended the deadline of this project from February 4, 2020, to February 10, 2020.

Ltd., O2 Power SG Pte. Ltd,Ayana Renewable Private Limited,Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited quoted for the capacity of 300,300,300,600,500,300,600,100,400,300 and 300 MW respectively.
In financial bids, Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited,AMP Energy Green Private Limited, SBE Renewables Fifteen Private Limited,ReNew Solar Power Private Limited,O2 Power SG Pte. Ltd.,ABC Renewable Energy Private Limited,Avaada Energy Private Limited,Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited,Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited,NTPC Limited and nv Vogt Singapore Pte Ltd quoted bid for 300,100,600,600,400,300,500,300,300,300 and 300MW respectively.They quoted tariff rate of 2.61,2.63,2.67,2.69,2.70,2.72,2.74,2.75,2.75 and 2.76/kWh individually.
Bidders shortlisted for e-RA after financial bids were Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited, AMP Energy Green Private Limited, SBE Renewables Fifteen Private Limited, ReNew Solar Power Private Limited, O2 Power SG Pte. Ltd., ABC Renewable Energy Private Limited, Avaada Energy Private Limited, and Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited. The total Capacity shortlisted was 3100 MW and Capacity eligible for the award was 1200 MW henceforth E-RA was held.
After e-Reverse Auction which held on 27.02.2020, the bidders shortlisted were SBE Renewables Fifteen Private Limited, AMP Energy Green Pvt. Ltd., Eden Renewable Alma Private Limited, ReNew Solar Power Private Limited who quoted for the capacity of 600,100,300 and 600MW each. All three companies quoted 2.50/kWh as their tariff rate whereas ReNew Solar Power Private Limited quoted 2.51/kWh. Awarded capacity for the shortlisted bidder was 600,100,300 and 200MW respectively.
Recently, SECI has issued Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for setting up 1200 MW Inter-State Transmission System(ISTS)-connected RE Projects with assured Peak Power supply in India, through a global tariff-based competitive bidding process.SECI has intimated in the notice that the RfS document will be issued shortly on the website.
