Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) recently declared results of e-RA for 2500 MW ISTS-connected Blended Wind Power Projects (Tranche-IX).
Vena Energy, JSW Solar and Inox wind bid for 160MW, 1000 MW and 50 MW for blended wind power projects (Tranche IX) respectively.
Vena Energy Vidyut Private Limited quoted the lowest tariff of ₹2.99 /kWh, , JSW Solar quoted tariff of ₹3 /kWh whereas INOX Wind Infrastructure Services Ltd quoted tariff of ₹3.41 /kWh under the bucket filling method.
After e-Reverse Auction held on 14.08.2020 the shortlisted bidders were Vena Energy Vidyut Private Limited who was awarded 160 MW capacity for tariff of ₹2.99 /kWh and JSW Solar was awarded 1000 MW for tariff of ₹3 /kWh.
In July, SECI issued amendments to 2 GW of ISTS connected wind tender and increased the capacity of the 2 GW tender to 2.5 GW.The tender was floated in March 2020.
In June, The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has recently issued Guidelines for the tariff-based competitive bidding process for Scheme procurement of blended wind power from 2500 MW ISTS connected projects.
The government has issued two sets of standard bidding guidelines for tariff-based competitive bidding for wind and solar power projects respectively. It has also sanctioned a Scheme of 2500 MW of wind-solar hybrid power projects.
