Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), has asked for bids to install a 2.39MW (DC) ground-mounted and roof-mounted solar system at 13 HPCL locations across the country. Deadline for proposals is June 30, 2022.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of between 200,000 and $1 million to participate in the bidding process.
The tender will accept only proposals from local suppliers of Class I and II. Preference will be given to local suppliers of Class I. To categorize a bidder into a Class I local supplier, the local content requirement is at least 50%. A Class-Il local provider is 20%.
The bidders must have delivered, tested and commissioned a grid-connected rooftop or ground-mounted solar system of at least 50 kW for a single project in the seven-year period ending May 31, 2022. This includes all locations except Budge Budge 1 Lube Plant.
The Budge Budge 1 Lube Plant bidders must have delivered, tested and commissioned a grid-connected rooftop or ground-mounted solar system of at least 100kW for a single project in the seven-year period ending May 31, 2022.
The tender was made schedule-wise. If bidders are involved in more than one schedule the technical and financial requirements for pre-qualification will be the total amount required to correspond to those schedules.
