The Oman Power and Water Procurement Company SAOC (OPWP), a member of the Nama Group, is responsible for procuring new capacity for power and water in the Sultanate of Oman in accordance with the requirements of the law for the regulation and privatization of electricity.
In line with the Sultanate of Oman’s vision to diversify fuel sources through the use of clean energy for power generation, OPWP issues a request for a proposal for procuring an additional solar project (Ibri III Solar IPP Project) connected to MIS with a capacity of 500 MW and targeted Schedule Commercial Operation Date by Q4 2026.
OPWP seeks proposals from interested bidders to provide technical consultancy for the development of the Project and to advise on the competitive tendering of the Project.
December 7 is the last date for submitting bids.
