Signing Ceremony: Cleantech Solar & Coats enter long-term solar partnership in Indonesia; Conceptual Design of Cleantech Solar’s rooftop solar PV project at PT Coats Rejo’s facility in Pasuruan, Indonesia

Cleantech Solar, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions to corporations in Southeast Asia and India, has entered a long-term solar partnership with Coats in Indonesia to develop a 540 kWp rooftop solar PV project at their facility in Pasuruan, East Java.
Cleantech Solar will provide the end-to-end solar solution along with guaranteeing the performance of the system.

The solar PV system consists of 990 solar modules and is expected to generate approximately 16 GWh of clean energy during the system’s lifetime, amounting to a reduction of over 13 kilotonnes of CO2 emissions. This project will enable Coats to substitute a part of their power consumption with renewable energy at zero capital investment. This long-term partnership is an important step in the
textile manufacturer’s sustainability efforts in Indonesia and is in line with Coats’ goal of ‘pioneering a sustainable future’.

Mrs Nguyen Phan, Managing Director at Coats Rejo Indonesia, said “Transitioning to renewable energy is the core of our sustainability strategy. I am delighted to announce this partnership with Cleantech Solar. We are firmly committed to reducing our environmental footprint and value chain emissions.”
