Envision Energy Unveils EN ACSkid-10000 for Enhanced Renewable Energy Grid Stability at Smarter E Europe 2025

Envision Energy, a global leader in green technology solutions, today launched its latest innovation, the EN ACSkid-10000 Power Conversion System (PCS) at Smarter E Europe 2025, setting a new industry standard for grid-forming capabilities, environmental durability, and high-efficiency performance.

According to the company, the EN ACSkid-10000 has been specifically engineered to support the evolving demands of utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects. It boasts a power density of 5.05 MW per PCS, aiming to optimize site utilization while minimizing land footprint.

Key Features Highlighted:

Grid-Forming Capabilities: The system integrates synthetic inertia, enhanced short-circuit capacity, stable voltage waveform generation, and Black Start capabilities, allowing for rapid, autonomous grid restoration and improved grid resilience.

Environmental and Acoustic Resilience: Engineered for extreme operational conditions, the unit operates at a low noise level of 56 dB(A) and is equipped with IP65 and C5 anti-corrosion protection, making it suitable for coastal and dust-prone environments.

Advanced Grid Support: The PCS can withstand 1.5ร— rated short-circuit current for 10 seconds, and provides up to 20 seconds of inertia support, enhancing its robustness in managing grid instability and fault ride-through scenarios.

With more than 100 GW of power electronics deployed across 20+ countries, Envision Energy continues to scale innovations for a greener and more reliable global energy ecosystem.
