ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has announced a key milestone in its renewable energy journey with the successful commissioning of the fourth phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan. The project has been developed through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Surya Power Private Limited.

The latest phase is located in Jaimalsar village in Bikaner and adds a capacity of 32.366 MW / 145.435 MWh to the companyโ€™s growing energy storage portfolio. The physical commissioning of this phase was completed on April 13, 2026, while the official Commercial Operation Date (COD) has been scheduled for April 15, 2026.

This development follows earlier progress updates shared by the company toward the end of March 2026. With the addition of phase-IV, the total commissioned capacity of the project has now reached 139.509 MW / 626.875 MWh. This marks a significant expansion in ACMEโ€™s battery storage capabilities and reflects its continued focus on strengthening grid stability and improving renewable energy integration.

Battery Energy Storage Systems play an important role in managing the variability of renewable energy sources such as solar power. By storing excess energy and supplying it during peak demand periods, these systems help maintain a stable and reliable power supply. The expansion of this project is expected to support the growing demand for clean and efficient energy solutions in the region.

The company formally informed BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Ltd about this development. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of Indiaโ€™s listing regulations, ensuring transparency for investors and stakeholders.

Headquartered in Gurugram, ACME Solar Holdings Limited continues to expand its presence in the renewable energy sector. The update was officially signed by Rajesh Sodhi, the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, confirming the details of the commissioning.

With this expansion, ACME is strengthening its operational footprint in Rajasthan and contributing to Indiaโ€™s broader clean energy transition. The companyโ€™s focus on large-scale battery storage projects highlights the increasing importance of energy storage in achieving reliable and sustainable power systems. Industry observers are likely to see this progress as a positive indicator of the companyโ€™s execution strength and long-term growth strategy in the renewable energy market.
