NTPC Limited has invited bids for a limited tender related to the Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) of key systems at a 4 MWp solar project. The tender focuses on maintaining critical components such as the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Power Conversion System (PCS), Energy Management System (EMS), SCADA, HVAC, and Fire Suppression Systems (FSS). The process is being handled by NTPCโ€™s Corporate Materials division under its Corporate Center.

The bidding process follows a single-cover system, where both technical and financial bids must be submitted together. Bidders are required to upload technical documents in PDF format along with the price bid in an Excel sheet. The submission window opened on April 28, 2026, and will close on May 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The technical bids are scheduled to be opened on May 8, 2026, at the EOC office in Noida.

The tender comes with relaxed financial entry conditions, as there is no tender fee and no Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) required. The contract duration is set at 730 days, which is approximately two years. Additionally, all submitted bids must remain valid for a period of 120 days. Bidders can raise queries or seek clarifications regarding the tender until May 4, 2026.

As a limited tender, participation is restricted to selected companies. The current list includes Fourth Partner Energy Private Limited and NEWEN SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED. These companies must meet several General Technical Evaluation criteria. This includes submitting declarations related to local supplier status and confirming compliance with NTPCโ€™s policies on fraud prevention and banning. Bidders also need to follow procurement rules related to countries sharing land borders with India.

A key requirement is the submission of a โ€œNo Deviation Certificate,โ€ which ensures that bidders agree fully with all the terms and conditions mentioned in the tender documents. The tender does not allow multi-currency or two-stage bidding. However, it includes an auto-extension feature, which allows the submission deadline to be extended up to three times if enough bids are not received.
