KPI Green Energy Limited has announced the incorporation of a new wholly owned subsidiary, KPGC One Private Limited (KPGCO), as part of its expansion in the renewable energy sector. The development was disclosed through a regulatory filing submitted to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on June 19, 2026, in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
According to the filing, KPGC One Private Limited was incorporated on June 18, 2026, and is registered with the Registrar of Companies in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Being a newly established company, KPGCO has not yet started its commercial operations and currently has no turnover.
The subsidiary has been incorporated with an authorized and subscribed share capital of Rs. 1,00,000, divided into 10,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each. KPI Green Energy has acquired 100 percent ownership of the company through a cash investment of Rs. 1,00,000, making it a wholly owned subsidiary under its complete control.
KPGCO has been established to undertake activities related to power generation and energy infrastructure. The company’s objectives include the generation, storage, transmission, distribution, purchase, sale, and supply of electricity and other forms of energy. It will focus on both conventional and renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, hydro, biomass, and thermal power.
In addition, the new entity will be engaged in the development, ownership, operation, and maintenance of power plants and energy storage systems. The move is expected to strengthen KPI Green Energy’s presence in the growing renewable energy market and support its long-term expansion plans in the power sector.
The company clarified that the incorporation does not qualify as a related party transaction and that no governmental or regulatory approvals were required for the formation of the subsidiary. The disclosure was signed by Krunal Bhatt, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of KPI Green Energy Limited.
