NTPC Issues Consultancy Tender for 105 MW and 220 MW of Solar Projects at Shajapur

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. (NTPC REL) has invited bids from consultants to conduct a geotechnical investigation for 105 MW and 220 MW solar power projects at Shajapur Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh. Bid Submission End Date is 24-Dec-2021 at 03:00 PM and bids will be opened on the same day. There is no EMD or tender fees. The bid validity period is of 180 days The work should be completed within six weeks from the date of the letter of award. The consultant will have to pay liquidated damages at 0.5% of the contract value, subject to a maximum of 5% of the total contract value if the work is not completed within the stipulated time.

Adani Signs Worlds Largest Green PPA of 4667 MW with SECI

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL), the world’s largest solar power developer and the renewable energy arm of the diversified Adani Group, has signed an agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to supply 4,667 MW of green power. This is the world’s largest evergreen power purchase agreement. “We are pleased to have signed the world’s largest PPA with SECI,” said Mr. Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group. “This is yet another step in our journey to enable India’s dual objective to accelerate India’s renewable energy footprint as well as promote domestic manufacturing under the Atmanirbhar Bharat programme.

West Bengal Invites Bids For A 22.5 MW Floating Solar PV At 3 Thermal Power Stations

West Bengal Power Development Corporation Ltd (WBPDCL) invites bids for a 22.5 MW floating solar PV power project on water ponds at thermal power stations on a turnkey basis. The thermal power stations included are Sagardighi Thermal Power Station, Murshidabad district, Santaldih Thermal Power Station, Purulia district, and Bakreshwar Thermal Power Station, Birbhum district. The work comprises manufacturing and procurement, designing and engineering, erection, testing, supply, and commissioning of solar power plants with 5 years of comprehensive maintenance and operation.

Rays Power Infra Inks Pact with Rajasthan Govt to Build 500 MW Solar Park

“Rays Power Infra has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Rajasthan government for constructing an avant-garde PV Photovoltaic (PV) Power Station and generating 500 MW of green electricity,” a statement said. During the ongoing Dubai Expo, the parties finalized the agreement to reduce traditional electricity consumption derived from non-renewable sources, it added. “We are thrilled that the Rajasthan government decided to support our vision and signed an agreement to build a 500 MW Solar Park in the state. This MoU is an instrumental step towards eco-friendly tomorrow, and we are pleased to be a part of this initiative,” Pawan Sharma, Director- Rays Power Infra, said.
