A call for proposals has been issued by SJVN Green Energy, a fully owned subsidiary of Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN), to commission a 125 MW grid-connected solar power plant in Jamui, Bihar.
Bid submissions are to be received by January 17, 2022, which will be opened on the same day.
Bidders are required to provide the earnest money deposit of Rs. 24.4 million along with Rs. 10,000 as bidding documents cost.
Design, site development, engineering, production, erection, inspection at the supplier’s facility, supply, insurance, testing, and commissioning are all included in the tender’s scope of work.
In addition to finishing the project in 465 days, the chosen developer is required to offer 3 years of full operation and maintenance services, along with a warranty term of one year from the date of delivery (Commercial Operation Declaration).
To participate in the bidding process, bidders must have designed, installed, supplied, and commissioned at least 30 MW of grid-connected solar projects with a balance of systems, in the past. At least one project with a capacity of 10 MW or more must have been in operation for at least 3 months prior to the proposal submission deadline.
Bids can be submitted by contractors that have completed industrial projects in the recent 6 months that totaled at least Rs. 710 million in value in the electricity, cement, petrochemical, steel, fertilizer, or coal sectors.
Further, bidders should have built at least one electrical substation with a voltage level of 33 kV or higher, complete with circuit breakers and power transformers that have been successfully operating for the past 6 months.
Bidders should have a working capital of at least Rs. 312.5 million and also had a positive net worth for the previous fiscal year.
Moreover, in the previous 3 fiscal years, bidders were required to have an average yearly revenue of Rs. 710 million.
