Netline, a prominent Pakistani energy solutions firm, has entered into an agreement for solar power projects in Saudi Arabia with Tamheed Energy, a Saudi-based renewable energy company.
Aamir Khan (senior board member at Tamheed Energy) and Umair Zavary (MD at Netline Group’s Karachi office), signed the agreement. The 20MW projects are worth $10 million.
This exclusive agreement aims to increase collaboration on solar projects and demonstrate the commitment of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to sustainable energy solutions.
Umair Zavary stated to Gulf news that the partnership would benefit Pakistan and the region, as well as open up more opportunities in the sector of renewable energy.
According to Zavary, the Pakistani company will create solar projects that have a capacity of nearly 20MW for Saudi Arabia’s future Neom city and other parts of the Kingdom under the project.
Netline, a power and energy solutions company that is owned by Karachi’s Zavary families, has recently revealed its renewable energy ambitions. These include boosting domestic solar production and accelerating Pakistan’s transition from imported fuels towards clean energy.
