The project is set to have a capacity of 200 MW(AC) and will be situated at Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat. It is important to note that the supply of solar PV modules will be handled separately by SGEL and not included in the scope of this package. The Bid Document outlines that SGEL has already inked a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) in accordance with the terms set forth in the “Request for Selection (RfS)” issued by GUVNL.

This agreement further solidifies the project’s trajectory and aligns with the larger objectives of promoting renewable energy. The timeline for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phase is delineated, with a duration of 375 days from the issuance of the Letter of Award (LOA) to the contractor. Additionally, a comprehensive Operation & Maintenance commitment spanning three years from the Commercial Operation Date (COD) is stipulated.
