Qair has secured PLN 350 million (approximately €82 million) in financing from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) to develop a 203 MW portfolio of solar and wind projects in Poland.
The funding will support the construction of three renewable energy projects, including an 18 MW onshore wind farm in Jenkowo, Lower Silesia, and two solar photovoltaic plants with capacities of 105 MW in Grudziądz and 80 MW in Wierzbica.
The financing has been provided under Poland’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan, backed by the country’s Energy Support Fund, which aims to accelerate the transition toward clean energy and strengthen renewable infrastructure.
Construction of the Jenkowo wind project and the Wierzbica solar plant is expected to begin in 2026, while the larger Grudziądz solar project is scheduled to commence in 2028.
Qair currently operates a diversified renewable energy portfolio in Poland, with over 560 MW of installed capacity across solar and wind assets. Upon completion of the new projects, the company’s total capacity in the country is expected to exceed 760 MW, aligning with its broader target of reaching 3 GW globally by 2030.
The development reflects Poland’s continued efforts to scale renewable energy deployment through public financing mechanisms, while also supporting Qair’s expansion in the European renewable energy market.
