Waaree Renewable Technologies Reports 53% YoY Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27, Order Book Crosses INR 5,300 Crore

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL), the EPC arm of the Waaree Group, reported strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, with revenue from operations rising 53.23% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹924.25 crore, supported by steady execution across its renewable energy EPC portfolio and expanding capabilities in transmission and distribution (T&D).

The company posted EBITDA of ₹173.48 crore, up 47.58% YoY, while profit after tax (PAT) increased 37.70% YoY to ₹118.97 crore during the quarter. EBITDA margin stood at 18.77%, compared with 19.49% in the corresponding period last year, while PAT margin was 12.87%.

WRTL said its consolidated unexecuted order book exceeds ₹5,300 crore, providing strong revenue visibility for the coming quarters. The company also highlighted a robust bidding pipeline comprising more than 37 GWp of solar projects, over 10 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, and over ₹20,000 crore worth of transmission and distribution opportunities.

During the quarter, the company secured key project wins, including a 1,520 MWh BESS order and a 450 MWp ground-mounted solar power project. WRTL also completed the acquisition of a 55% equity stake in Associated Power Structures Pvt. Ltd. (APSPL), strengthening its presence in the transmission and distribution sector and expanding its integrated clean energy offerings.

Commenting on the results, Manmohan Sharma, Chief Financial Officer of Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, said the company’s growth was driven by disciplined project execution, efficient resource deployment, and a strong focus on operational excellence despite ongoing geopolitical and supply chain challenges. He added that India’s growing renewable energy capacity, emerging BESS opportunities, and expanding transmission infrastructure continue to create significant long-term growth prospects for the company.
