ACME Solar Commissions Additional 33.33 MW/120.384 MWh BESS Capacity In Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has announced the successful commissioning of additional capacity under its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan. The development was disclosed through a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges on June 12, 2026.

The project has been commissioned by ACME Sun Power Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings. The newly operationalized capacity consists of a 33.331 MW/120.384 MWh battery energy storage system located in Badi Sid village under Bap tehsil, spread across the Phalodi and Jodhpur districts of Rajasthan.

According to the company, the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for this additional capacity has been fixed as June 14, 2026. The commissioning marks another important milestone in ACME’s efforts to strengthen its renewable energy and energy storage portfolio in the country.

With the addition of this new capacity, ACME Sun Power Private Limited has achieved a cumulative commissioned battery energy storage capacity of 300 MW/1404.320 MWh. The expansion significantly enhances the company’s ability to support grid stability and facilitate the integration of renewable energy into the power network.

The company stated that battery energy storage systems play a crucial role in improving the reliability and flexibility of power supply, particularly as India increases the share of renewable energy in its overall energy mix. Large-scale storage projects help manage fluctuations in renewable power generation and support round-the-clock energy availability.

The regulatory filing was signed by Rajesh Sodhi, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of ACME Solar Holdings Limited. The disclosure was submitted to both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The latest commissioning follows an earlier update shared by the company on June 1, 2026. With this achievement, ACME Solar continues to expand its presence in India’s growing renewable energy and energy storage sector while contributing to the development of a more reliable and sustainable power infrastructure.
