ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned an additional 66.68 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan, marking further progress in the development of its renewable energy portfolio. The newly commissioned capacity is located at Kelan village in Chhatargarh tehsil of Bikaner district and has been developed through ACME Renewtech Private Limited, a subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings.
According to official records, the commercial operation date (COD) for the newly added 66.68 MW capacity is October 7, 2026. The commissioning adds to the company’s ongoing development of a larger 300 MW Hybrid Power Project in the region.
Following the latest commissioning, ACME Renewtech Private Limited has achieved a total commissioned solar capacity of 133.36 MW under the project. The company is continuing work toward completing the remaining capacity planned for the hybrid power facility.
The project’s electricity output is supported by a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed with NTPC Limited, providing an established commercial arrangement for the generated renewable power.
The commissioning of the additional capacity strengthens ACME Solar’s presence in Rajasthan, one of India’s leading renewable energy hubs. The state’s high solar irradiation and availability of large areas suitable for utility-scale projects have supported significant solar development.
The Bikaner project is part of ACME Solar’s broader strategy to expand its renewable energy generation capacity and contribute to India’s clean energy transition. The company’s continued project execution also supports the growing demand for reliable renewable power from large institutional off-takers.
