India’s SECI Extends Bid Deadline For 15 MW (AC) Floating Solar PV Power Plant

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has issued a notice in concern with the extension of the bid submission deadline for 15 MW (AC) Floating Solar PV Power Plant for different packages at SCCL Telangana State.


Existing Date & Time of Bid Submission and Bid Opening was 04.05.2020 till 1400 HRS and  04.05.2020 at 1600 HRS respectively. Revised Date & Time of Bid Submission and Bid Opening is 18.05.2020 till 1400 HRS and 18.05.2020 at 1600 HRS.

Scope of Supply & Work includes all design & engineering, procurement & supply of equipment and materials, testing at manufacturer’s works, multi-level inspections, packing and forwarding, supply, receipt, unloading, and storage at site, associated civil works, services, permits, licenses, installation and incidentals, insurance at all stages, erection, testing and commissioning of (10 MW + 5 MW)15 MW (AC) Floating Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant and performance demonstration with associated equipment and materials on turnkey basis at 2 locations for SCCL, Telangana and 10 (ten) years comprehensive operation and maintenance from the date of Operational Acceptance.

Recently, The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible firms for installing 15 MW floating solar PV power plant for different sites at the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) in Telangana. The project is divided into 2 sites: Site 1 is STPP Storage Reservoir for the capacity of 10 MW and site 2 is Dorli OC -2 Void, SSCL for the capacity of 5 MW.

The eligibility criteria for participating in the bid is that the Minimum Average Annual Turnover (MAAT) of the bidder in the last three financial years should be Rs 34.02 cr. and the net worth for the last financial year should be positive. As per the last audited financial statement, the bidder should also have a minimum working capital of Rs 21.26 cr.

On 5th March, The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced that it will issue tender documents for three solar power projects which will be developed in Telangana at the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL). It stated in total it will tender projects worth 81 MW capacity.

Recently, The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a notification, extending the bid submission deadline of its 4MW Floating Solar With 2MW of BESS Tender.The last date of bid submission is hereby extended till 04.05.2020 (18:00 HRS) and The techno-commercial bid opening shall be carried out w.e.f. 11:00 HRS on 07.05.2020. As the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) interested bidders must remunerate ₹5.4 million. The highest tariff payable to the developer is ₹8 /kWh for 25 years which includes all statutory taxes, levies, duties, and cess. To participate in this tender the minimum annual turnover of the bidder should be ₹48 million while net worth should be minimum ₹54 million.
