The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has invited bids for RESCO mode rooftop solar panels in the Regional Rapid Transit System, (RRTS), corridor project linking Delhi, Ghaziabad and Meerut.
NCRTC – a Joint Sector company of the Govt of India and the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh – has been given the mandate for designing, developing, implementing, financing, operating and maintaining the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) projects in the National Capital Region (NCR) to provide comfortable and fast transit to NCR towns and meet the high growth in transport demand.
The scope of this project covers design, engineering, supply and installation of the rooftop solar system and any supporting structures. It will also provide ongoing operation and maintenance support for the 25-year period after commissioning.
The project completion including commissioning period is 15 months and the bid submitting end date is 12 December.
