In a recent meeting, James Jin, President of Longi Green Energy MEA region, held discussions with H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the MD&CEO of Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA). During the meeting, Mr. Jin provided an overview of LONGi’s achievements in the past year, including its position as the leading global module shipper in 2022 and breaking the world record for silicon HJT cell efficiency with a record of 26.81%.
Mr. Jin also shared LONGi’s strategic development and investment plans for the Middle East over the next five years. He expressed that LONGi is committed to its ESG program and is eager to collaborate with DEWA on related ESG activities in the region.
The meeting between Mr. Jin and H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer holds significance in terms of the potential cooperation between LONGi and DEWA in the field of ESG, which could lead to new opportunities in the region.
