Avaada Group, a leading Indian renewable energy company, has announced that it has won a Production Linked Incentive (PLI) grant worth Rs 961 crore for 3000 MW of capacity under the wafer, cells, and modules basket, for high-efficiency solar PV modules tranche-II.
The PLI grants, totaling Rs 19,500 crore, were given by the Indian government to manufacturers of solar modules in India as part of the country’s push towards self-reliance.
As a nation, India is marching towards the one big dream of self-reliance, and Avaada Group’s goals are paralleled with the track of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The company also emphasized its commitment to preserving the planet by maintaining green energy security and striving proactively to remove the hurdles for the country to take on a commanding position in the renewable energy space and commensurate change in the world.
