Avaada Group, a leading Indian renewable energy company, has announced that it has won a Production Linked Incentive (PLI) grant worth Rs 961 crore for 3000 MW of capacity under the wafer, cells, and modules basket, for high-efficiency solar PV modules tranche-II.
The PLI grants, totaling Rs 19,500 crore, were given by the Indian government to manufacturers of solar modules in India as part of the country’s push towards self-reliance.
